Application: This is a qualitative in vitro nucleic acid assay for the detection of HIV-1 and HCV RNA in human plasma. Effective May 1, 2011, HIV-2 and Hepatitis B will be added to this testing service.

Sample Requirements: A minimum of 3.0mL of EDTA plasma stored at 2-8° C for up to 7 days. For longer storage, plasma should be stored at = -18° C. Please contact us for any other questions regarding sample requirements.
